#Beijing2015: The dos and don'ts of worlds

We're just over the halfway mark of the 15th IAAF World Championships in Beijing, and have learned some good lessons from the athletes competing there.

Do read the story. Don't not read the story

The IAAF world track and field championships are well underway. Day 5 has just come to an end in Beijing, and though there are still three days left of competition we have already learned a great deal.

The athletes competing at worlds are top of their field, and looked to as role models, guides and mentors.

So what have they taught us so far?

Dos and Don'ts of #Beijing2015

DO take a celebration selfie, also known as a "selfiebration."

DON'T forget your camera!

DO jump in feet first in long jump.

DON'T dive in head first in steeplechase.

DO throw one hand in the air when you know you've won gold!

DON'T throw two hands in the air before you've won bronze.

DO stand proudly with your gold medal.

DON'T use your gold medal to pay your cab fare after a night of celebrating said gold medal.

DO try new things in Beijing, like when Perdita Felicien tried scorpion.

DON'T forget to actually chew, like American sprinter Candyce McGrone.
