Andre De Grasse headlines Canada's IAAF world relays team

Andre De Grasse and his Olympic bronze medal winning 4x100-metre relay teammates will be back in action again at the IAAF world relays in Nassau, Bahamas on April 22-23.

Canada is sending 12 Olympians to compete in Nassau

Andre De Grasse and his Olympic bronze medal winning 4x100-metre relay teammates will be back in action again at the IAAF world relays in Nassau, Bahamas on April 22-23. 

Athletics Canada named 23 athletes to the team, including 12 Olympians to race in the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 distances.

De Grasse, a three-time Olympic medallist, will be joined by Brendon Rodney, Aaron Brown, Akeem Haynes and Bolade Ajamole on the men's side. The women's team features Crystal Emmanual, Farah Jacques, Carline Muir, Alicia Brown and Noelle Montcalm.

This event serves as a qualifier for August's IAAF world championships. The top eight teams in the 4x100 and 4x400 will automatically qualify for the worlds in London.
