Canada's Mo Zhang advances to table tennis round of 16

Mo Zhang of Richmond, B.C., beat Germany's Petrissa Solja in the third round of table tennis action on Monday at the Tokyo Olympics.

After taking an early 3-1 game lead, Zhang, playing in her fourth Olympics, lost the next two games to send it to a seventh and deciding game. The 32-year-old rebounded and dominated the final game, cruising to a 11-3 victory to take the match.

Zhang advanced to the round of 16 on Tuesday in Tokyo.
