Christine Sinclair passes Mia Hamm with 159th international goal

Canadian soccer legend Christine Sinclair scored her 159th goal in international play against Trinidad and Tobago at the CONCACAF Olympic qualifier in Houston on Sunday, passing Mia Hamm on the all-time goal scorers list. She now sits behind only Abby Wambach.

Christine Sinclair scored her 159th goal in international play against Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday at the CONCACAF Olympic qualifier in Houston, passing Mia Hamm on the all-time goal scorers list.

Sinclair's goal came in a 6-0 win that earned Canada a spot in the semifinals of the tournament.

Sinclair is the leading scorer in the history of the CONCACAF Olympic qualifiers with 16 goals and counting. At the 2012 tournament, she scored nine goals.

Along with her 159 international goals, the Canadian captain has 234 caps, 229 starts and 41 assists to her credit.

After passing Hamm, Sinclair is now ranked second on the list of soccer's all-time international goal scorers, right underneath Abby Wambach, who has 184.

There's really no other way to put it: Sinclair is a Canadian soccer legend and one of the greatest players of all time.
