Mandy Bujold, Kim Clavel, and Caroline Veyre continued Canada's torrid start at the women's boxing world championships in Astana, Kazakhstan on Saturday.

Bujold's 3-0 win over Yana Burym of Belarus, and Clavel's 3-0 win over Ireland's Donna Barr capped a 7-0 win streak to begin Canada's competition.

Caroline Veyre, who needs a top-four finish to qualify for the Rio Olympics in the 60kg category, pushed that record to 8-0 with a victory over Maja Saric of Croatia.

As it stands right now, Canada will be sending two female boxers to Rio – Bujold and Ariane Fortin.
