Canadian women's rugby sevens reach quarter-finals in Dubai

The Canadian women's rugby sevens team has advanced to the knockout stage of the Dubai Sevens Cup.

The Canadian women's rugby sevens team has advanced to the knockout stage of the Dubai Sevens Cup.

Canada finished second in Pool B, beating Ireland (17-7) and the United States (35-5), and losing their opening round match to Fiji (24-10).

The team will now face England on Friday in a do-or-die matchup.
