Day 2 of the IAAF world championships in Beijing, China was a great day for Canada, with some pegging it "Super Sunday".

The day opened with Ben Thorne garnering Canada's first ever world race walk medal: a bronze.

Brianne Thiesen-Eaton was the silver medallist in heptathlon as she closed with a second-place finish in the 800-metre heptathlon race.

And rising Canadian track star Andre De Grasse topped off the day with a bronze medal in the 100m, proving that he can run with the big boys.

Coming off an NCAA gold and Pan Am Games gold in the 100m, today's race was the first time he faced off against the likes of Usain Bolt and Justin Gatlin in a final.

With "Andre De Grasse" trending in Canada we decided to take a look at some of the best reactions from fellow athletes.

Some think it's time for @ChampagnePapi to shout out De Grasse in a song.

While teammate Dontae Richards-Kwok was more concerned with those who doubted Bolt.

Brendon Rodney was proud of De Grasse, but admittedly a lot like Trick Daddy.

Richard Thompson thinks that the young guys who tied for bronze should be giving themselves a pat on the back.

And the last word?
