Could Jen Kish be Kaillie Humphries' new brakeman?

With less than 500 days to go until the 2018 Olympics, Canada's bobsleigh athletes are in Calgary for the National push testing camp - and they've been joined by some familiar faces from the Rio Olympics.

Reigning Olympic champion had teamed up with rugger Heather Moyse in past 2 Winter Games

Could Canada's rugby sevens captain Jen Kish join the list of Canadian athletes who compete in both the Summer and Winter Olympics?

The decision, at least in bobsleigh, is partially up to Kaillie Humphries.

Canada's reigning Olympic champion has been holding tryouts in Calgary to find a new brakeman, presumably to train with all the way to Pyeongchang 2018.

Kish announced on social media on Monday that she was Calgary-bound for the Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton National push-testing camp tryouts.

If a partnership was formed, Kish, a bronze medallist in Rio, would be in good company. Humphries' previous brakeman Heather Moyse – who helped push Humphries to Olympic gold in 2010 and 2014 – had also previously played on Canada's national rugby team.

Humphries was even on hand for Kish's tryout to help show her the ropes.

The search is on

Kish isn't the only Rio 2016 athlete to try their hand at being a brakeman - Canadian sprinter Phylicia George was invited to the tryout as well.

Does anyone else think that this hunt for a new brakeman would make a great reality TV show?

The hunt clearly has some drama as shown in this photo Humphries posted of an injury sustained from fellow National team member Cynthia Appiah's cleat.

It's clear that Humphries is looking for someone with speed and power, but maybe she also wants someone who shares her love of tattoos? In that case, Kish seems like an obvious choice.
