Canada turned 149 years young on July 1 and Canadian Olympic athletes across the country took to social media on Canada Day to show love for their country.

As part of their Canada Day celebration, the Toronto Blue Jays played host to a number of Canadian Olympic and Paralympic athletes before their matchup with the Cleveland Indians.

And even the visiting Indians couldn't resist getting in on the fun.

With two huge wins at the Porec Major, Rio-bound athletes Heather Bansley and Sarah Pavan had even more to celebrate on Canada Day. The beach volleyball pair will face off against Germany in the semifinals and look to improve on their second place finish in the tournament in 2015.

Whether competing, training or relaxing, these Canadian athletes couldn't be happier to represent "the best country in the world."
