The NHL on Wednesday unveiled the eight sweaters that will be worn by teams competing in the World Cup of Hockey this fall in Toronto.

The eight teams competing are Canada, the United States, Finland, Russia, Sweden, Czech Republic, Team North America and Team Europe.

As would be expected, the Team Canada sweater is red, with white maple leafs on the arms, and features a sharp and clean artistic design of the maple leaf in the centre of the chest.

The Americans' navy blue sweater features a distinct crest of "USA" in the centre of the chest with red bands around each elbow.

The tournament will also feature a 23-and-under North American team consisting of players from both the U.S. and Canada that will place No. 1 and No. 2 draft picks Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel on the same team.

The Europe team is made up of players selected from any country on the continent except for Finland, Russia, Sweden and the Czech Republic, each of which has its own team entered in the eight-team tournament.
