Season opener gets off to rough start between Toronto, Montreal
Canada's two Original Six franchises usually keep things interesting when they meet, and Wednesday's season opener between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Montreal Canadiens was no exception.
Just over five minutes in to the first period at the Air Canada Centre, Montreal defenceman P.K. Subban was sent into the boards by Maple Leafs centre Leo Komarov with a late hit.
