P.K. Subban fires a rocket past Andrew Hammond
Montreal defenceman gets kiss from Andrei Markov
When P.K. Subban gets the time and space to fire a puck at the net, amazing things can happen.
That was certainly the case Friday night when the puck bounced off the boards, allowing the Montreal Canadiens defenceman to wind up and clobber a slap shot to the top of the net behind Ottawa Senators goalie Andrew Hammond.
Just how fast did the shot travel? It was clocked at just under 140 km/h.
The "Hamburglar" really didn't stand a chance on this one.

Subban's teammate Andrei Markov couldn't help but show his affection after the goal put the Canadiens in front 2-1.
While Subban's goal didn't stand as the winner, the Canadiens went on to win 3-2 in overtime after Alex Galchenyuk slipped a shot past Hammond.
