Sin City hoping to attract an NHL franchise
Whether NHL hockey ever arrives in Las Vegas is anyone's guess, but the city will at least have an arena to show for the efforts to lure a team.
To prove they mean business, a drone camera recently took flight to provide a glimpse of the progress that has been made on a potential home for a franchise.
If all goes according to plan, the building will look nothing short of shiny and new.

—@sportsuncorkedAn ownership group led by Bill Foley is attempting to bring an NHL team to Las Vegas, with the $350 million US arena project being a key ingredient.
Expected to be completed in 2016, the arena will reportedly seat 17,500 for hockey games.
In April, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman said that Foley's group was "doing very, very, well" in the drive to secure 10,000 ticket deposits.
