Habs lead the way in Hockey Night In Canada 2012-13 schedule

The 2012-13 NHL season marks the 60th anniversary of Hockey Night In Canada, which will celebrate by broadcasting 101 regular season games featuring the seven Canadian clubs, including 29 Montreal Canadiens contests.

The 2012-13 NHL season marks the 60th anniversary of Hockey Night In Canada, which will celebrate by broadcasting 101 regular season games featuring the seven Canadian franchises.

The Montreal Canadiens will lead the way with 29 appearances on HNIC, followed by the Toronto Maple Leafs (25), the Winnipeg Jets (21), the Ottawa Senators (18), the Vancouver Canucks (15), the Calgary Flames (13), and the Edmonton Oilers (12).

Of those 101 contests, 32 will be all-Canadian affairs. The schedule also features 16 games between Original Six teams, with the Leafs and Habs battling in six of those contests.

CBC's coverage also includes the 2013 NHL All-Star festivities in Columbus; beginning with the skills competition on Sat., Jan. 26 as well as the Hockey Day in Canada broadcast hosted live from Lloydminster, Sask., on Sat., Feb. 9.
