Montreal Canadiens right-winger Brendan Gallagher will be sidelined two to three weeks with a lower-body injury. The 23-year-old, who has 35 points in 49 games, missed 17 games earlier this season with two fractured fingers on his left hand.
Right-winger leads team with plus-11 rating
For the second time this season, the Montreal Canadiens will be without forward Brendan Gallagher for an extended period.
Gallagher, who left Saturday night's 4-2 loss at Winnipeg, will be sidelined two to three weeks with a lower-body injury.
The 23-year-old right-winger missed 17 games earlier this season with two fractured fingers on his left hand.
Gallagher entered Tuesday's game against Dallas sixth in team scoring this season with 35 points in 49 games and a team-leading plus-11 rating but managed only a goal in his past five starts.
Montreal was 30-30-6 before facing the Stars, having lost four straight.
