Anaheim beats Winnipeg 2-1.

If Winnipeg Jets defenceman Dustin Byfuglien was trying to send a message to Anaheim Ducks centre Ryan Kesler, chances are it was received.

In Game 2 on Saturday, Byfuglien delivered a hard, but perfectly legal check that sent Kesler over the boards and into the Ducks' bench.

Regardless of the angle, this bone-crushing hit might have had Kesler thinking twice about his illegal hit to the head of Jets defenceman Tyler Myers in the opening frame.

Kesler was whistled for a two-minute minor on the play.
