NHL All-Star skills competition: Top 5 moments
All-stars showed their comedy, acting, dancing ... and hockey skills
Saturday's NHL All-Star skills competition was full of talent, that's obvious. Surprisingly, it wasn't just hockey talent though.
We saw comedy, theatre, dancing ... and that was just in Brent Burns's breakaway challenge.
All-star weekend is for the fans and the players didn't let them down.
Here are some of the best moments from Saturday's skills competition:
1. Larkin's record-breaking debut
Detroit Red Wings rookie Dylan Larkin broke the record for fastest lap around the full rink in his all-star debut. He whizzed by in 13.172 seconds, topping the record of 13.386 seconds set in 1996 by Mike Gartner.

Brent Burns's son, "Lil Burns," showed off his sweet victory dance after helping his dad score in the breakaway challenge.

4. One more shot!
Nashville's own Shea Weber was given one more chance to break the hardest shot record as fans chanted "one more shot," loudly and proudly. He won the hardest shot at 108.1 mph, but Zdeno Chara's record of 108.8 mph set in 2012 still stands.

Brent Burns and P.K. Subban both let their freak flags fly in order to secure the fan-voted breakaway challenge. They both pulled out all the stops on their final shot, with Burns channeling Star Wars and being christened the "Wookie of the Year," and Subban donning a wig and Panthers jersey in an ode to the mullet-master himself, Jaromir Jagr.
