Junior star shreds London with epic show
On the night the Buffalo Sabres officially finished last and will pick either first or second in the upcoming NHL draft, Erie Otters superstar Connor McDavid showed once again why he's the top rated player.
During the second round of the OHL playoffs on Friday night, McDavid scored five goals in a 7-3 win over the London Knights.
McDavid, who earlier this week finished as the best prospect according to the NHL's Central Scouting people, completed his evening with a beautiful between-the-legs goal.
McDavid, from Newmarket, Ont., finished fourth in Ontario Hockey League scoring with 120 points in just 47 games. His 44 goals were tied for fourth in the OHL.
