NFL Commissioner Robert Goodell's announcement regarding several domestic abuse cases involving the league's players was interrupted Friday when a protester stormed the stage.

"Don't take me to an elevator!", could be heard as security carried the man away.

It was later revealed that the protester was Benjy Bronk, a writer for the Howard Stern Show.

Bronk was mocking an incident of domestic abuse involving former Baltimore Raven Ray Rice and his wife Janay Palmer.

A security video released earlier this month showed the running back punching Palmer in the face inside an elevator, knocking her unconscious.

The video ignited criticism from fans and social groups who called for Goodell and the league to address the issue of domestic violence among the league's players.
