Tiger-Cats name McManus head U.S. scout
Danny McManus has a new job with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
The Canadian Football League club named the former quarterback its head U.S. scout. McManus had served as Hamilton's southeast regional scout the past two seasons.
The former Florida State star spent 17 seasons as a CFL player with Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary and Hamilton and will be inducted later this year into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.
The Ticats also named Drew Allemang as their co-ordinator of Canadian player development and head Canadian scout after serving as the club's football operations co-ordinator the last two years.
As well, Shawn Burke, who had been the club's director of communications and community relations, was appointed as the director of football operations.
