The Calgary Stampeders traded Junius Coston, an import offensive lineman, to the Edmonton Eskimos on Saturday for future considerations.

The Calgary Stampeders traded Junius Coston, an import offensive lineman, to the Edmonton Eskimos on Saturday for future considerations.

Coston was signed as a free agent by Calgary on May 18 and had been at the Stampeders' training camp for the past two weeks.

The six-foot-four, 325-pound linesman had played guard, centre and tackle for North Carolina A&T while in college.

Coston was a fifth-round draft pick by the NFL's Green Bay Packers in 2005. He played 16 games for the Packers from 2005-07. He also had stints with the Detroit Lions and Oakland Raiders.

He most recently played with the Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League in 2010.
