Darian Durant, Roughriders QB, out for season
Kevin Glenn replaces Saskatchewan starter after Achilles injury
Darian Durant who missed a key portion of last year's season with the Saskatchewan Roughriders was forced to leave the Blue Bombers-Roughriders game Saturday with an Achilles injury.
Durant came up limping after a passing attempt in the second quarter. He seemed to favour his leg and knelt down before the Roughrider medical team came out onto the field. He was taken to the dressing room just before halftime and later returned to the field using crutches. Within hours after the end of the game, the Roughriders announced that Durant had a torn Achilles tendon and would miss the rest of the season.
#riders confirm Darian Durant suffered a ruptured achilles tendon and will be out for the remainder of the 2015 season.
