	1. MONTREAL ALOUETTES Overall record: 9-2 Streak: Two wins Beating the Bombers is hardly cause for major celebration, but the Larks looked strong and proficient and altogether confident while doing it.
	2. HAMILTON TIGER-CATS Overall record: 6-5 Streak: One win Beating the red-hot Stamps was quite an achievement for the Kitties, who will need about two more wins to secure their first playoff spot since Trudeau was P.M. OK, not really that long.
	3. CALGARY STAMPEDERS Overall record: 6-5 Streak: One loss The white stallions get this spot because of the two-straight wins over Edmonton, not the loss to Hamilton. Wasn't a surprise they dropped it in Steeltown given the emotion of the Eskimo back-to-backs.
	4. EDMONTON ESKIMOS Overall record: 6-5 Streak: One win Imagine how good this club could be if the receivers could hang onto the ball all the time. Still have to come up with a running game from somewhere.
	5. SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDERS Overall record: 6-5 Streak: One loss Let's be straight, it's still a three-way tie in the West and they only slip here because of the loss to Edmonton. Darian Durant is looking fine.
	6. B.C. LIONS Overall record: 5-6 Streak: One win Now 4-2 in their last six and the Leos have clawed back into the West race. D in the Wally Buono dictionary doesn't stand for Defence, by the way, it stands for Discipline, and he's looking for a little more of it.
	7. TORONTO ARGONAUTS Overall record: 3-8 Streak: One loss Note to QB Cody Pickett: It's one steamboat, two steamboat and get rid of the ball; Not one steamboat, two steamboat, take one last look around and get crushed by a runaway aircraft carrier because you took too much time.
	8. WINNIPEG BLUE BOMBERS Overall record: 3-8 Streak: Three losses Poor Fred Reid.
