	1. CALGARY STAMPEDERS [unchanged] Overall record: 9-3 Streak: One two What the H-E-double hockey sticks was that? Everybody is entitled to an off night, but you can't be throwing away points to the bad teams, or even the mediocre ones, for that matter. And QB Henry Burris was this awful? Now the door has been opened a crack for Saskatchewan with tough games ahead.
	2. MONTREAL ALOUETTES [unchanged] Overall record: 9-3 Streak: Three wins This was the week all the top teams played down to their opponents, and Montreal was no exception. Winnipeg could easily have beaten them thanks to over 400 yards given up by a defence that can be had. Als QB Anthony Calvillo continues to astonish with 477 yards passing and five touchdowns.
	3. SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDERS [unchanged] Overall record: 8-4 Streak: Two wins If not for two DeAndra' Cobb fumbles near the Riders' goal-line that killed the Cats, the Riders would have lost to Hamilton. But football is filled with those moments, so the Green and White will take it. QB Darian Durant has just got to hang onto the ball - an interception and three fumbles is not going to cut it.
	4. HAMILTON TIGER-CATS [unchanged] Overall record: 6-6 Streak: One loss Poor DeAndra' Cobb. He finally breaks out with 166 yards on 15 carries but fumbles the ball twice and costs his Cats the game. The Cats were solid this week against the Riders and even with the loss showed they can compete with the top clubs. Now they have to do it consistently.
	5. B.C. LIONS [up from 7] Overall record: 4-8 Streak: One win The Lions have the idea: forget about winning pretty, just win. Your QBs combine to complete just nine passes? Find some other way, in this case Yonus Davis gets 239 yards in kick and punt returns and the defence forces five turnovers. Three out of four for Wally's boys.
	6. TORONTO ARGONAUTS [down from 5] Overall record: 6-6 Streak:One win Still think Cleo Lemon will be a good QB in this league, but if his pinky finger is really hurting his throws, as they keep harping on TV, shouldn't he be rested? Defence still doing well, but a bad offence is an old Argo nightmare revisited. Team is better than last year, certainly. Miles to go, however.
	7. WINNIPEG BLUE BOMBERS [down from 6] Overall record: 3-9 Streak: Two losses Attack was great, scoring 40 against the Alouettes. Defence was awful, giving up 566 yards to Montreal and Anthony Calvillo. If you want to stop losing all these close games, consistency is the key. Lots of heart on this team, though. Somebody send running back Fred Reid some proper knee pads.
	8. EDMONTON ESKIMOS [unchanged] Overall record: 3-9 Streak: One win Playing for the new GM is helping the Eskimos, though the Argonauts beat themselves as much as Edmonton beat them. Put another way, who cares? Take the win, stay in the playoff hunt, give Eric Tillman something to base his personnel decisions on other than mistakes. Good for them.
