	1. CALGARY STAMPEDERS [unchanged] Overall record: 9-2 Streak: One loss The Stampeders learned this past weekend that Saskatchewan isn't quite ready to give up on first place just yet. Giving up 500 yards in the air to the Riders' Darian Durant must have caused the coaching staff a bit of a murmur. And how did the White Stallions lose this one when they had no turnovers and the Riders committed four?
	2. MONTREAL ALOUETTES [unchanged] Overall record: 8-3 Streak: Two wins Hard to tell what beating on the Eskimos means in general terms, but specifically it puts the Als four points up on Toronto and Hamilton with seven games to go. Anthony Calvillo was being a bit careful out there, coming off three weeks of recovery from his bruised sternum. The Als were proficient, professional and effective. Like the good old days of last year.
	3. SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDERS [unchanged] Overall record: 7-4 Streak: One win So, there's life on the prairie yet. Sure, the Green and White are still four points back of the Stampeders with seven games to go, but one of them is against Calgary and you never know. Keep pushing, that’s the point. And, um ... who's making these late game calls on the Riders' sideline? Geez.
	4. HAMILTON TIGER-CATS [up from 5] Overall record: 6-5 Streak: One win Here's an argument: Was that great comeback in the fourth quarter against B.C. the result of five Lions' turnovers, or five Cats' takeaways? Coach Marcel Bellefeulle probably could care less, they just needed that win. QB Kevin Glenn is back on his horse after an off week.
	5. TORONTO ARGONAUTS [up from 7] Overall record: 6-5 Streak:One win Cleo Lemon's offence was simply overmatched against the Bomber defence, but to their credit they came up with just enough points. The Argo front four, with last year's CFL top Canadian Ricky Foley and his energy added, chased Steven Jyles all over the field on Sunday. Plus, Justin Medlock is back from the NFL and his kicking is going to make a difference heading down the stretch.
	6. WINNIPEG BLUE BOMBERS [unchanged] Overall record: 3-8 Streak: One loss How to read this week's loss to Toronto? The defence was absolutely sick (fabulous, for us old folks). The offence made everyone sick, just one week after looking so great against Saskatchewan. Could someone please just hang onto the ball when it arrives from quarterback Steven Jyles?
	7. B.C. LIONS [down from 4] Overall record: 3-8 Streak: One loss Everything was going so well through two straight wins and almost three quarters of good football this week against Hamilton. And then … a five turnover disaster. Has anyone checked if there are poltergeists hanging around Empire Field? Weird things happen there.
	8. EDMONTON ESKIMOS [unchanged] Overall record: 2-9 Streak: Three losses Now that Eric Tillman has been brought in as GM to straighten this mess out, there's a feeling of calm descending on northern Alberta. It's as though the flood waters have crested and even though everyone is living on their roof, you know better days are ahead. Tillman wins wherever he goes. He'll eventually win here.
