Canadian Football Hall to welcome 5 new members
The Canadian Football Hall of Fame is set to welcome former CFL stars Doug Flutie, Michael (Pinball) Clemons, Mike Pringle and John Bonk as players while Tom Shepherd will enter in the builder's category.
The Canadian Football Hall of Fame is set to welcome five new members.
Former CFL stars Doug Flutie, Michael (Pinball) Clemons, Mike Pringle and John Bonk will be inducted as players.
Tom Shepherd, who began his involvement with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 1966, will enter in the builder's category.
Flutie was named the league's outstanding player an unprecedented six times and led his teams to three Grey Cup titles.
Clemons and Pringle also won three Grey Cups apiece as players while Bonk won a title with the 1984 Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
The induction ceremonies will be held the weekend of Sept. 18-20.
