Bombers shuffle front office responsibilities

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers reshuffled some front office responsibilities Monday following the departures last week of president Lyle Bauer and head coach Mike Kelly.

Bauer resigned from his post Thursday while Kelly was fired after one season as the club's head coach.

The Bombers' board of directors has appointed Jim Bell as interim president and named Ross Hodgkinson as its interim vice-president of football operations. Bell has been with the club since 2002 and has served as the vice-president of finance and administration since 2006.

Hodgkinson has been Winnipeg's director of football operations since 2006.

The Bombers also announced they're extending the period for season-ticketholders holders to renew until Jan. 8, 2010.
