Lakers legend finishes 20-year career in dominant fashion
It was a memorable ending to an illustrious athletic career.
One-time NBA champions Shaquille O'Neal and Lamar Odom along with current standouts from LeBron James to Kevin Durant to Dwyane Wade to Kobe Bryant's former Los Angeles teammate, Pau Gasol, paid tribute to the Lakers legend via video before his final game on Wednesday night against the visiting Utah Jazz.
It was a prolific 20-year run for the 37-year-old Bryant, who said goodbye to the game with a 60-point performance in a 101-96 victory.
The "Black Mamba" racked up countless accolades, multiple championship rings, made seven Finals appearances and reached the post-season 15 times.
