Toronto renews sports rivalry with Cleveland
Blue Jays vs. Indians follows Raptors vs. Cavaliers series
Once again, teams from Toronto and Cleveland meet in playoffs. Seems familiar, right?
This time, they're moving from the hardwood to the ballpark.

After the Cleveland Indians swept the Boston Red Sox in Game 3 of the ALDS, the team will meet the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALCS.
Five months earlier, the Toronto Raptors and Cleveland Cavaliers squared off in the NBA Eastern Conference finals in a gruelling six-game series.
A familiar Blue Jays slugger was even in attendance:

Unfortunately for Toronto fans, the Cavs won the series 4-2 en route to the franchise's first-ever championship.
And the Cleveland Cavaliers are off to the NBA Finals again after beating the Raptors 113-87 in Game 6 <a href="https://t.co/Fw3cNSvaOj">pic.twitter.com/Fw3cNSvaOj</a>

It's now up to the Toronto Blue Jays to even out the playing field in the Cleveland rivalry.
The rivalry between the two cities has sparked online conversation:
Ok Cleveland you took round 1 against Toronto in May....but just ask Rougned Odor about Round 2 ... see you Friday!

Cleveland fans are confident that Toronto fans will be left upset and heartbroken once again.

Toronto, remember the last time you played Cleveland in the conference finals? Back for more already?

Good news for the Indians: 100% of Cleveland championships won in the past 52 years have included a pitstop in Toronto.

One thing Toronto can only hope for is that LeBron James isn't in any way involved with the series.
Unless the Indians just signed LeBron <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/BlueJays?src=hash">#BlueJays</a> are winning the ALCS. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/OurMoment?src=hash">#OurMoment</a>

But don't worry Toronto fans, it looks like the Blue Jays are all over it.

As for Blue Jays president Mark Shapiro — who was previously Cleveland's president and GM — well...let's just say things might get awkward.
we go live to Mark Shapiro for his thoughts on the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/ALCS?src=hash">#ALCS</a> <a href="https://t.co/gDBjm7i9x0">pic.twitter.com/gDBjm7i9x0</a>
