Rangers' Josh Hamilton day-to-day with migraines

Josh Hamilton is suffering from migraine headaches and the Texas Rangers' slugger is day to day.

Rangers manager Ron Washington said Hamilton would be evaluated before the club's exhibition game Monday night against its AAA affiliate, Round Rock. The centre fielder left Friday night's game against Colorado with a tight left groin.

The Rangers also announced a handful of roster decisions. Washington said outfielder Craig Gentry and infielders Alberto Gonzales and Brandon Snyder had made the big league team.  

Texas infielder Luis Hernandez and outfielder Julio Borbon will start the season at Round Rock and play shortstop and centre field, respectively, for the AAA club.

"We decided to keep Gentry over Borbon because Gentry is a right-handed hitter and we needed his bat to mix and match," Washington said. "Gonzales is staying with us because he has experience sitting around at the major league level and Hernandez needs to play every day."
