After the Toronto Blue Jays' 14-2 drubbing at the hands of Kansas City in Game 4 of the AL Championship Series, Twitter searched for where to place the blame. Enter starting pitcher R.A. Dickey.

R.A. Dickey may have only pitched 1 2/3 innings on Tuesday afternoon, but he was the topic of discussion as the night progressed.

Dickey was the Blue Jays' starter against Kansas City in Game 4 of the American League Championship Series, but from the minute he stepped on the mound his knuckleball didn't have the desired movement.

Kansas City scored five times in the first two innings, prompting those to tweet Dickey's day soon would be over, before Blue Jays manager John Gibbons ultimately pulled him from the game with two outs in the second.

Some Twitter users even went so far as to compare Dickey to Royals pitcher Johnny Cueto, who gave up six hits and eight runs in two innings of Monday's 11-8 loss to the Jays.

Dickey continued to trend on Twitter until the end of the game, with the debate becoming whether or not Dickey was to blame for the 14-2 loss.

At what point do you think things turned for the Jays? Let us know in the comments below.
