Jose Reyes-Troy Tulowitzki trade reaction on Twitter

Toronto Blue Jays GM Alex Anthopoulos, not one to make big moves leading up to the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline, made a big splash Tuesday, and Blue Jays players, fans and others shared their thoughts on the Troy Tulowitzki-Jose Reyes deal.

Jays make splash ahead of non-waiver deadline

The Troy Tulowitzki-to-Blue Jays trade with Colorado for fellow shortstop Jose Reyes and three minor league pitching prospects shook up the baseball world Tuesday along with some of Reyes' now former teammates.

While players in Toronto undoubtedly are sad to see the smiling, fun-loving Reyes leave town, they will probably quickly warm up to Tulowitzki, considered the best all-around shortstop in the major leagues over the past 10 years.

The reaction from both sides on social media came shortly after the deal was announced.
