Blue Jays fall to KC, #beardedliar and #raindelay a factor

Game 6 didn't end how Blue Jays fans wanted it to. "Ok Blue Jays' wasn't the only song being sung during this do-or-die match. Here we take you through the different tunes of Game 6.

The boys in blue really came together this season, and took Canada with them

Yogi Berra's famous quote, "It ain't over 'til it's over" has never rung more true for the Blue Jays. Game 6 was a close game with both teams battling until the end.

Unfortunately, the outcome was in favour of Kansas City with a 4-3 win ending the Blue Jays post season run.

Blue Jays fans won't be singing 'Ok Blue Jays', in the Rogers Centre until next season.

But during Game 6, they were singing a few different tunes...

Liar Liar Pants on Fire

When an eager young bearded Kansas City fan reached out and caught a second-inning "home run" that gave Kansas City a 2-0 lead, Jose Bautista immediately claimed fan interference.

After umpire review the home run was allowed, and Blue Jays fans took to Twitter to vent their displeasure.

The KC fan was identified as 19-year-old Caleb Humphreys, but Twitter began referring to him as #beardedliar after he under exaggerated the extent to which he reached for the ball in an interview.

Jose, Jose, Jose (sung to the tune of Ole, ole, ole)

Jose Bautista hit his 4th post season home run, and his second of Game 6.

Fans were bat flipping in their living rooms.

And saying it was payback for the #beardedcatch.

And for this Fox flub in the 7th inning. "It ain't over 'til it's over".

Rain, Rain, Go Away

In the middle of the 8th, the rain came and delayed the game for an hour.

Fans were sure that the rain delay plucked the Blue Jay momentum right from them.

Some fans sang a different tune.

Seriously though, that's a great song, you should listen to it. It'll make you feel better if you're sad about the outcome of Game 6.

In the end, what a season the boys in blue had.

Team Canada Paralympic sledge hockey player Karl Ludwig summed it up for Canada.
