Blue Jays' Estrada paves the way to Game 6 for #the6ix
And Back to the Future 2 got it all wrong.
The word estrada in Spanish means road or highway, which makes sense as Blue Jays pitcher Marco Estrada "paved" the way to Game 6 for Toronto.
The pitcher came through when it counted in this do-or-die Game 5 of the American League Championship Series, allowing just three hits in 7 2/3 innings in a 7-1 win over the visiting Kansas City Royals on Wednesday. His pitching prowess had some people calling for "real change"... again.

The type of respect that must be saluted with caps off.
<a href="https://twitter.com/cbcsports">@cbcsports</a> Hats off too him! Great game! <a href="https://t.co/Kvq2WT5BzQ">pic.twitter.com/Kvq2WT5BzQ</a>

And by a big Canadian voice.
Thank you Marco Estrada <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/ComeTogether?src=hash">#ComeTogether</a> <a href="https://t.co/d7OqYcYTNb">pic.twitter.com/d7OqYcYTNb</a>

In Game 5, Estrada did what no one had done since another Blue Jay did it in a 1992 post-season game.
Marco Estrada is 1st <a href="https://twitter.com/BlueJays">@BlueJays</a> pitcher to throw 7 straight scoreless innings in a <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/postseason?src=hash">#postseason</a> game since Jimmy Key. <a href="https://t.co/NaYbsaiiS8">pic.twitter.com/NaYbsaiiS8</a>

There seems to be some similarities between the 1992 World Series champions and the 2015 Blue Jays.
But not a lot of similarities between the Oct. 21, 2015 of today and the October 21, 2015 predicted in the 1989 film "Back to the Future 2", at least when it comes to post-season baseball.

When Doc Brown and Marty McFly head back to the future on this day in 1989, the film predicted a Chicago Cubs World Series win. And that definitely won't be the case as the New York Mets were able to knock the Cubs out of contention in a sweeping Game 4. Kind of poetic, methinks.
Back to the Future 2 is clearly not the be all and end all when it comes to predictions. After all, we're still waiting on those nifty hover boards.
Besides, Blue Jays fans are saying #Jaysin7.
Who thinks we can get <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/JaysIn7?src=hash">#JaysIn7</a> trending? RT this. Because THEY CAN! <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/ComeTogether?src=hash">#ComeTogether</a> <a href="https://t.co/DUFv14R7Zz">pic.twitter.com/DUFv14R7Zz</a>

And if we use history as a predictor, we already know what happens when the Blue Jays make it to the World Series. #BacktoBack
What do you think? Will it be #Jaysin7?
