Blue Jays clinch division, fans rejoice

Things have finally fallen into place: The New York Yankees lost Tuesday night, the Blue Jays dominated the Orioles in Baltimore on Wednesday afternoon and Toronto has officially clinched first place in the American League East.
It's been 22 years since the Blue Jays last clinched a playoff berth. So long, in fact, the younger generation of fans were either in diapers or lovely fragments of their future parents' imaginations. Jerry Howarth, the Blue Jays' longtime radio voice, said it best Tuesday night:
