Despite being down 0-2 in the American League Championship Series, Alex Rodriguez thinks it's still too early to write off the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Yankees legend has plenty of experience with Toronto, as the Blue Jays dominated New York 13-6 in the 2015 season series.

In A-Rod's FOX Sports debut, he shared his thoughts on the tenacious Blue Jays.

"Anyone who writes them off, I think they're making a mistake," Rodriguez said. "Trust me, I played against these guys just a few weeks ago."

"They have power, they have great pitching, and they're going up to Toronto. They're relentless up there and almost impossible to beat at home."

The 40-year-old will join FOX Sports as an MLB analyst for the rest of the post-season, starting with Monday's ALCS Game 3.

Toronto has already fought back to win their best-of-five American League Division Series against the Texas Rangers after trailing 0-2. Another comeback isn't entirely improbable for the AL East champs.

A-Rod's debut at FOX as he dropped by the NFL studios on Sunday was quite a smashing success as Rodriguez demonstrated that he'll be better off sticking with baseball rather than than trying a football career.
