Canada's Olympic hockey roster on CBCSports.ca
Join us on Wednesday for expert talk on the who's who of the men's team
Finally, after years of talk, it will be known.
On Dec. 30, at noon ET, Hockey Canada will officially announce Canada's 2010 Olympic team.
And CBCSports.ca will bring you everything you need to know about who's who of the 23 men selected.
Some names are assumed — the likes of Sidney Crosby, Scott Niedermayer, and Jarome Iginla included. One will carry the "C" on his jersey. The question is, who is most worthy?
Will others, such as Mike Fisher, Drew Doughty, and Brad Richards, earn their place? And will the San Jose Sharks' sharpest line, Joe Thornton, Dany Heatley and Patrick Marleau, dominate on Olympic ice? Or will Marleau make the cut?
How will Canada stack up against Russia's offensive powerhouse, led by Evgeni Malkin and Alex Ovechkin? Will they find the net against the U.S., who will likely boast the NHL's hottest keeper, Ryan Miller, between the pipes?
Beginning at 11:45 a.m. ET, come to CBC's Vancouver Now website to find out. Join a live chat with CBC Sports hockey experts Scott Morrison, Tim Wharnsby and Jeff Marek.
Each will provide in-depth analysis on how Canada's roster will fare against tough competition.
And beginning at 1 p.m. ET, get the inside scoop on Team Canada's official roster with Marek, who's hosting a special online edition of Hockey Night in Canada.
CBCSports.ca will also bring you bios of each member of the Canadian roster, the teams they'll face in Olympic competition, and the history that sets them apart.
