Winnipeg NEEDS Centre helps refugee youth integrate into society

In Winnipeg's inner city, the NEEDS Centre offers support for children and their families. CBC Winnipeg producer Suzanne Dufresne, dropped by the centre for a tour with senior programs manager Heather Robertson and grade 12 student Dalil Lokwa to hear about the programs they offer.

No matter from where in the world they've journeyed to arrive here, refugee children beginning their lives in Canada... all make their way to school. It's an added pressure for the system, and different schools cope with new arrivals in different ways.
