Today is Day 21 of the trial of Mike Duffy.

The suspended senator has pleaded not guilty to 31 charges of fraud, breach of trust and bribery related to expenses he claimed as a senator... and later repaid with money from the prime minister's former chief of staff, Nigel Wright.

We spoke with the CBC's National Affairs Editor Chris Hall on April 7th, the day the trial began.

Now we're checking in to get a sense of what has unfolded since then.

Nicholas Köhler is a freelance journalist covering the Duffy trial gavel-to-gavel for Maclean's magazine. He was in Ottawa.
