Social-satirist Paul Krassner blurs absurdity with humour

For more than half a century, social satirist Paul Krassner has been calling it like he's sees it. He was a co-founder of the Yippies and remains an ambassador from the counter-culture of yore. He joins Lara Rae to talk about the state of political satire in America and how 83 is the new 82.

For more than half-a-century now, Paul Krassner – a co-founder with Abbie Hoffman of the Youth International Party, or Yippies – has been using humour to raise political awareness about the issues he finds important.

He's the author of numerous booking including one whose title reallly says it all about Paul Krassner: "Confessions of a Raving, Unconfined Nut: Misadventures in the Counterculture."
