Brenda Hardiman hopes decision in Amanda Murphy court case will set precedent to not crimalize people with mental disabilities

Last January, we brought you a story about Nichele Benn, the 26-year-old who is facing several assault charges has a brain disorder and has difficulty controlling her emotions. Her mother Brenda Hardiman has been fighting the Nova Scotia government for eight years arguing people with mental disabilities should not be criminalized.

This week, she is applauding a Nova Scotia court ruling and Brenda Hardiman joined us to tell us more.
