Lodro Rinzler on your toxic workplace:

"Wherever we are, we have the ability to make an impact. I get a lot of people saying, 'My work place is chaotic, it's aggressive. My boss is a jerk. My co-workers are constantly gossiping. What can I ever do?'

The darker the cave the more any sort of light actually shines forth and illuminates what's going on ... And I really do feel that if you are in a dark, dark office environment, where it is fuelled by aggression and speed, if you can slow down and be the person that's not giving in to that ... it really does shift the general culture, slowly but surely."

Lodro Rinzler is a Buddhist teacher. His book is called The Buddha Walks Into The Office. Read an excerpt from the book here.
