The rise and fall of Jeremy Renner's app

This week, he joins host Tom Power to talk about the rise and fall of Jeremy Renner's self-titled app. The Avengers and Hurt Locker actor debuted the app in 2017 in an attempt to connect his fanbase, called "Renheads."

Last week, Renner shut down the app and released a statement saying, "What was supposed to be a place for fans to connect with each other has turned into a place that is everything I detest and I can't and won't condone."

Abdelmahmoud discusses why the app was shut down, if it will impact Renner's popularity and what this says about the future of celebrity apps.
