Legendary rock 'n' roll musician Fats Domino has died at the age of 89. The New Orleans native, best known for songs like "Blueberry Hill," "Poor Me" and "Domino Stomp," was a popular artist in the '50s, outselling acts like Elvis Presley and going on to influence many other musicians.
Over the years, writer Rick Coleman became friends with Domino and, in 2007, he wrote a book all about him called Blue Monday: Fats Domino and the Lost Dawn of Rock 'n' Roll. Coleman spoke to Tom Power about his friendship with Domino and how his music literally broke down barriers.
