Yukon Blonde's Jeffrey Innes on their new album Critical Hit
Yukon Blonde perform their single Love The Way You Are live in the q studio. Frontman Jeffrey Innes talks to Tom Power about their new album, Critical Hit.
Here's a dream scenario: you're a Canadian in a band, you're touring Europe, and you don't feel inclined to go home right away — so you settle down in Spain for a while.
That's what Yukon Blonde frontman Jeffrey Innes did a few years ago after completing the band's European tour for their album, On Blonde. Spain is also where he started writing the band's latest album, Critical Hit, which comes out next month on June 22.
Today, hear Yukon Blonde perform their single Love The Way You Are live in the q studio, followed by Tom Power's chat with Innes.
The band will headline the q stage at the 2018 CBC Music Festival on Saturday, May 26. Visit cbcmusic.ca/festival for the full lineup and tickets.
