You might remember Lea Michele singing her heart out as Rachel Berry on the show Glee, but here's a little secret about Michele's heart: it's always belonged to her hometown, New York City.

Now, the actor and singer has released a new Christmas album called Christmas in the City, which is a love letter to the place that raised her. She joined q's Tom Power from a studio in New York to talk about the album, her love for Alanis Morissette and how singing Uninvited on Glee led to a magical moment.
Michele's new Christmas album, Christmas in the City, is out now. Her Christmas movie Same Time, Next Christmas will be playing over the holidays. You can catch Michele in concert on Dec. 19, 20 and 21 in New York.
