Chance Perdomo: The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star on redefining Ambrose Spellman

The character of Ambrose Spellman was missing from the original '90s TV series, but in Netflix's gritty reboot he's a young pansexual warlock played by Chance Perdomo.

On the Netflix series The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Chance Perdomo stars as Ambrose Spellman, Sabrina's cousin and partner in mischief.

The character appeared in a very different form when the original Sabrina comic series debuted and was missing completely from the '90s TV series. In Netflix's gritty reboot, Ambrose is a pansexual warlock facing 75 years of house arrest for a failed plot to blow up the Vatican.

Perdomo joined q's Tom Power to talk about what drew him to The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and how redefining the character of Ambrose brought a new level of fandom to the show.

Season 2 of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina premieres on Netflix this Friday.
