Jessica Hopper is a music critic and author who has lived in the Chicago area for over 20 years.

In this edition of the q block party, Hopper takes us on a musical journey through the Chicago of her youth, from warehouse parties to music festivals, with song picks from a diverse range of artists including Fugazi, Curtis Mayfield and Robyn.

Hopper's new book, Night Moves, is out now.
