When Smash Mouth's song All Star came out in 1999, it quickly gained a lot of steam. At the height of its popularity All Star made its way to number one on Billboard's pop charts and stayed there for six weeks.
It remains the kind of song that almost anyone can jump in and sing along to. All Star turns 20 years old this month and in honour of the anniversary, Smash Mouth's guitarist and songwriter, Greg Camp, joined us to share how the band pulled together this massive hit.
