Professor Brian Cox is a particle physicist from the U.K., who studies the universe and has even become a bit of a star himself.

Cox is a television host, a radio host and he even hosts live shows to bring the excitement of science to audiences everywhere. He holds a Guinness World Record for selling the most tickets for a science tour and he set the record for the largest science show ever performed.

This month, Cox is in Canada, touring his latest live show Universal: Adventures in Space and Time.

He joined host Tom Power live in the q studio to talk about how he blends comedy, entertainment and physics in his shows, and why we shouldn't be daunted by complex science.

Cox brings his new show, Universal: Adventures in Time and Space, to Toronto tonight. If you're in Edmonton, Calgary or Vancouver, you'll have the chance to catch his show next week.
